If you are interested in joining a vital group of Catholic women trying to change the world through prayer and action, we have a number of membership options available—Branch Membership, General Membership and a combined membership with the Anima Women’s Network.  

Membership of the Catholic Women’s League of Victoria and Wagga Wagga is open to every Catholic woman.   

All our members enjoy the same benefits including a $15 discount per night for accommodation at Mary Glowrey House in Fitzroy (subject to availability).  

Branch Membership:

Branch Membership costs $20 a calendar year and these funds directly benefit the work of the League. We have branches of the League throughout Victoria and Wagga Wagga. Branch meetings give members an opportunity to meet one another, to pray together, keep up to date about League activities, and to be involved in carrying out the work of the League locally. Branch Membership is ideal for someone who is available to attend meetings during the day. We can also help you start a Branch of the League in your parish, school, university or workplace.

General Membership:

General Membership also costs $20 a calendar year. It's the ideal membership if you would like to be involved in the work of the League, but cannot attend Branch meetings on a regular basis or if there is no Branch nearby. Becoming a General Member is also a great way of supporting the vital work of the League even if you're busy!

Combined Discounted Anima Women’s Network Membership and General Membership to the Catholic Women’s League of Victoria & Wagga Wagga:

We are delighted to also now be able to offer a combined discounted Anima Women’s Network Membership and General Membership to the Catholic Women’s League of Victoria & Wagga Wagga for $35 a calendar year (normally $40).  

Benefits of membership to the Anima Women’s Network include discounts at Anima conferences and retreats.

Every member of the League in Victoria and Wagga Wagga has a national and international voice through our affiliation with the Catholic Women’s League Australia (CWLA) and the World Union of Catholic Women’s Organisations (WUCWO).   Members are eligible to be nominated as the National Bioethics Convenor, the National Social Issues Convenor, the National International Secretary and the WUCWO Board Member Australia.  

The League is a work of faith, an expression of the concrete love of God for all human persons. The members of the League move always, and unashamedly, from a foundation of prayer. It is prayer that empowers the League members in their attempts to be bearers of life, hope and dignity to others, and it is prayer that has enabled these attempts to continue to bear such abundant good fruit in the lives of so many.
